It's so beautifully written and the production makes me feel nostalgic but hopeful at the same time. I also feel so identified with the lyrics and the whole idea of "singing this song to yourself", as told by Gaga, blew my mind when it came out. On the other hand, I love 1000 Doves, but I honestly think it would have worked better as a ballad, and the EDM production kinda takes away the pain she is describing in the lyrics.
