Yet you were taking yourself out of the moment to pose for the perfect picture. Quite infuriating for an artist who's performing and putting on a show for you.

It's  a photo that takes a maximum of a couple of minute :rip: All these dramatics make it sound like they shut her up and jumped on stage and punched her quiet or something. All they did was take a PHOTO, jesus.

Soft, soothing, and succulent

I really don't like this entitled attitude. Like, hadn't we established some basic line of respect and etiquette?

Try this during a Broadway show and see how the people react :)

a broadway show isn’t a concert, this isn’t even a relevant example

If I were sitting in the crowd near them and they all got out of their seats and went to the front and started having their own little photoshoot, flashes going off and everything, while the artist is trying to perform for us, I'd be pissed off tbh. It's like people talking at the movies. They think they're the most important in the room

And if I were the artist and I was singing my heart out trying to perform for a crowd and I just saw people standing up ignoring me and using me in the background for a photo op I'd also be pissed off

But maybe don't stop your whole damn show to scold them, that's a bit much

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

the flashing would be disruptive and distracting to the performer and crowd tbh

look at both parties' point of view: the artist singing what's probably a meaningful song for her and wanted to connect and have an intimate moment with her crowd, while these fans captured that in their own way.

but while you can take pictures, it's rude to be disruptive in a way these real housewives of kentucky were. the artist and the rest of the audience were taken out of that moment and the pic looks like they're in madam tussauds or at a zoo where the singer is a caged animal for tourist attraction.

well, at least they didn’t throw the phone at her face after they took this selfie, so it’s something:air:

She was disrespectful. Nothing boils my blood more than performers (she isn’t an artist) behaving this way.

the solution here would have been to provide direction to security to stop anyone that was disrupting the show.

even at the chromatica ball, a ton of fans had their flash on, taking pictures.

if she can’t handle being up on stage, I’m positive someone else would.

Y’all need to realize- this is in an intimate theater venue, not a stadium.  Stop bringing up lady Gaga Beyoncé etc people who perform in stadiums.

Don’t agree with her singling out the party however I understand the frustration since this was an obviously smaller venue.

It's disgusting how she publicly shamed people for taking a selfie, instead of resolving it in another way if it really was an issue. It was also Planet Hollywood in Vegas, everyone stands up, gets bottle service etc. It's not some Broadway type of intimacy, where filming is strictly forbidden.

This isn't the first time she popped off on her audience or acted rude towards others, the audience didn't take thousands of photos or film the whole show. I don't feel bad for Miranda at all.

I like dancin', and ponies....

That’s not a selfie.  That is a group photo with flash being used
