As if all black celebrity dinner parties never happen? Are these people delusional? I think they are.

I mean I will say white people in America love to champion diversity, and their friend group is literally full of Jimmy, Chris and Sarah's. :ladyhaha:

If anything it's tone deaf considering the SAG AFTRA strikes, but it also speaks on how Hollywood (and America) was built upon racism and white favoritism. It's not that serious at all, they can be friends with whoever, but it does show the state of the country.

I'm not feeling bad for rich celebs getting mildly dragged either way

I like dancin', and ponies....

1) it's really not a big debate or scandal in the first place. Using a few critical people talking about it to make this seem like a public outrage is just an excuse to trash SJWs.

2) it's not unusual. At least in the USA, more than 70% of white people say they don't have any non-white people they'd consider friends.

3) instead of defending or judging their party guests, maybe just self reflect on what your party guests would look like. If all of them look like you, what might that say?

The only reply in this thread with sense…wow.

People really didn’t create backlash- it just created a meme on Twitter using the picture to highlight OTHER places that are mostly white (company chairs who preach diversity)
the people using the word “backlash” are just trying to create the narrative that “woke” has gone too far. Which it seems most of you have fallen into.  And why you’ll have trump again :)

This is pathetic attempt by bored twitter fools.

If anything it would be far worse if they invited non white people just for fake online clout

And that tax logic is stupid. If I were a millionaire, I'd also move to state with lower tax rate. If anything, it's Idaho govt's fault that the tax system there is such that it favours rich people.

Also, it would be weird if there were only one non-white person. That would check the diversity column, but I wonder how uncomfortable they(singular) would feel. It's better this way.

Anyway, the party looks boring. Glad Lisa Kudrow didn't attend/wasn't invited. She would never do any wrong, I know that.
