She is on a roll lately. First her story about sleeping with Donald Trump Jr and now this. Covering all bases, I see :icant:

The approach and perspective she takes is sad. I mean, yes they didn't think she could make it solo so why coming for her?

Why not coming for the label instead? :alsemanche:

Sounds like she's in desperate need of attention... :bear:

It wasn't Nicole's decision to be the focal point/lead singer of PCD. The label clearly wanted to make her a solo artist eventually, but that didn't work out. It happens. The music industry is very cutthroat.

Aubrey is and has always been a messy child  but Nicole deserves some heat for how she always acts like it was a burden that she had to sing 95% of the album. It's  clear she carried the "burden" of lead singer because thats is how she(nicole) and the management wanted it.

The fact that they reunited in 2020 with nicole still singing everything tells me that Nicole is very comfortable being the only singer and she probably wants to keep it that way. It's messed up because the fans clearly don't want to see that anymore. We know the other girls can sing  even though not as good as nicole. She needs to learn to share the spotlight or carve her path as a solo artist which i believe she is doing now after the reunion fell through.

PCD was a burlesque group that turned into a vocal girl group with a lead singer. That was the point:

Man I feel like we need to cut Nicole some slack. She is a visible minority who is an amazing talent, and it’s so unfortunate she only had major success surrounded by girls that fit that stereotypical pop star role. That’s something we don’t talk about. People of colour have a much more difficult time making it in pop. (And other genres)
