It's all I've been seeing for the last 2 months I mean, part of a film campaign's job is to promote, so idk if there's such a thing as "too much" advertisement. The movie's nature also definitely lends itself to marketing: it's fun, bright, campy, and Barbie itself is a world-renowned brand. I also think that the reason why the marketing has been so early is because of the potential PGA strike. If they strike, the actors wouldn't be allowed to promote their movie, so they want to get the promo done early in case they do go on strike.
