The halo of The Eras tour is massive. Carrying "Cruel Summer" to the top 15 on the Hot 100 and this major debut despite very little promo (relative to Taylor's other two re-releases). Plus no audience fatigue despite working two singles at radio.

No doubt we are getting The Eras: The Album once all the TV recordings come out.

the whole concept of the Eras era is just so brilliant lol. An album might be a slay, but it will be even more exciting to see what she does once everything is re-recorded and she can move on.

At first the idea of and album named Karma(as alluded to in The Man MV) finishing The Eras era seems more and more likely in time.

Am I the only one who believes Karma was just a working title for reputation same way Speak Now was titled Enchanted at first and Lover was titled Daylight. There’s nothing concrete to suggest there was a full scrapped album titled Karma, the title alone is very alluding to the theme reputation conveyed. And if there ever were tracks scrapped we’ll get them with reputation Taylor’s Version let alone that we got a song titled Karma on midnights.

I hate that the eras concept is something that Gaga could do so much interesting but anyways. Taylor is so much connect with her catalogue and musical side than Gaga.

Are you kidding me? Her last 3 set lists have deep cuts and always perform her minor hits as well.

Right but I think what they meant is re-exploring the themes and aesthetics of each era with a modern update which we’ve never seen Gaga do. She molds old songs into a new aesthetic which is always great, but I think they were saying it’d be cool to see her engage with the old music while treating it as such rather than tying it into the current era.

It 100% is although I think she’s feeding into it and might make her new album orange theme with a similar idea as Karma considering the orange door we see at the end of the shows

Not really any deep cuts tho it’s always fan favorites. I mean Bloody Mary, Heavy Metal Lover, Dance In The Dark, and Monster aren’t “deep cuts” when they’re super talked about in the community.

Id wanna see Summerboy, I Like It Rough, Teeth, So Happy I Could Fir, Highway Unicorn, Fashion Of His Love, etc etc

Deep cuts are anything’s that was not a single.

Yeah, I have thought that too, but what is there were TONS of songs during that time frame and she will feed into the theory and rerecord some other songs and form a new album? I feel like with how she feeds the fans she could make it work.

That’s not what it is lol. Music term wise it’s just anything that isn’t as popular. Like Heavy Metal Lover is not a deep cut and is arguably talked about more than half the singles on BTW

Offtopic but why on the eras tour does she only perform enchanted from this album? Justice for mine!

a lot of her music got a big streaming boost from being performed on The Eras Tour, so she probably held back Speak Now & self-titled for the reason that attendees are gonna be less familiar with them/more likely to check them out if incentivized

but now Taylor's Version is out and she's permanently added Long Live to the set + performed 2 other tracks from the record as surprise songs on the same night

An album track isn't inherently a deep cut. Deep cuts are more songs that are not well known to or don't recieve much attention from anyone other than hugely dedicated fans, to the point that even some fans probably don't have a ton of experience with it. Something like Scheisse or Americano for example wouldn't be a deep cut, but something like Disco Heaven is. Its those songs that clearly trail way way way behind other non-singles on an album.
