I’m very much against religions that force women to cover up, and this is giving the same vibes. You can have the conversation behind closed doors, but ultimately it’s up to the woman! :crossed:

The fact some BS clothing "standard of decency" is always applied more strongly on women ( with additional religious excuses or mom-shaming only ) is pure misogyny.

Women haters always find a way and moral/ religion are among their favorite weapons indeed.

Yes. We should blame Keke too.

I'm honestly tired of justifying women who like men like these. Rihanna is another example.

“Upstanding man”—made a woman a mother before a wife…mhmm upstanding indeed.

not that *i* have any issue with keke but if it’s all about morals and standards then pull your head out of your a$$. Ofc it isn’t about that it’s about him being jealous that she continues to glow up post birth and sought anything to be the thing to talk about it. He expected her to be less attractive, homebody, let herself go (in career, body, beauty, etc.). Men like this expect that bc then they have power over “their” families. She’s done none of those things and he’s seething at the fact that *he* became that BD not her. Oop.

I don't think it should be seen as misogynistic to want your significant other to not dress a certain way, but this is absolutely a conversation that should be had in private, rather than attempting to shame them in such a public forum and a conversation like that should be a mutual agreement founded in respect for one another, rather than a controlling demand based on one persons' mortals.

Don’t take the gendered language out of it lol to call himself a “family man” then go in about the way “wives and mothers” should look is misogyny. He’s painting himself as the moral man and her as the wh*re throwing it all away. It’s some very very deeply misogynistic sh!t as this is not something women tend to say about their husbands who btw often dress like half crap half the time while they’re expected to be in full beat and have nice hair, nails, etc. It’s aaaaall about control of the spouse even humiliating them like this—to try to reclaim the power back in the dynamic. She’s already more famous, vivacious, wealthier, and beloved. Tf does he have? Men get like this who feel emasculated by their wives being more successful bc the “traditional” families they’re aspiring to have husbands as all of those things. Only in this case, he’s such a hypocrite bc she isn’t even his wife! He made a baby mama out of her and is demanding she behave how *he* see fit? Please. It’s already base wrong but that fact sends the red flag sky high

I thought I made a pretty clear distinction between the general act of not wanting a significant other to dress in X in public and having an adult conversation and agreement versus what he did by shaming her in a public setting and demanding his morals over her?

Letting the world know how insecure you are is wild and what was the purpose of the tweet? Have people pile up and shame Keke? Weirdo.

Reeks of misogyny and insecurity. She can wear whatever she wants to. Just because she's a mother doesn't change anything.

I’ve unfortunately had to leave behind so many friendships with women i was really close to because of them excusing their husbands disgusting behavior, only to befriend them again after they split, and then let go again when they pull the same type of guy. Some people ARE into this. Its find it wierd but to each their own i guess.
