vanna shintuyu 10,749 Posted July 5, 2023 Share Posted July 5, 2023 there seems to be a specific type of person who flocks to canceled/disgraced celebrities and supports them after they've been outed for doing horrible things. idk if it's pick me behavior or some kind of twisted nostalgic sympathy where they make up excuses for them and intentionally support them more the worse things get. like shane dawson and james charles still get a decent amount of views, not quite where they once were, but much higher than you'd expect after countless examples of their offensive doings. granted, before all this, colleen was only getting like 10% of what they're getting now after their "comebacks" so it won't be the same dramatic success story, but I'm sure she's just going to keep making her awful content, and people will keep making up excuses and sympathizing with her. as we're even starting to see in this very thread...
