I don't get why he's hated so much, (caveat: nor do I get why he's so loved). I know he used a racist slur, but didn't he apologize and donate $150k for it? 

I can't tell if people are being genuine or jumping on the country music hate bandwagon.

That said, I'd be nice for a new song to get #1. I feel like the charts in the US are so slow to move on.
