why are people suddenly expecting gaga to be sending thank you texts and flowers to anyone who's touched her music? 

why does gaga keep getting held to some high standard like this?

Not to mention that Charli is far from being an upcoming artist who needs uplifting from anyone, and acting like Gaga was doing charity for these artists is very condescending.

It's the sort of thing stans seriously overreact about and interpret as some great insult. That said, idk I do think it's a little weird. I understand why she might find it strange and/or annoying, but it's not something that seems big enough to 'publicly' call her out about...especially as it is BloodPop's baby and Gaga was prepping/filming House of Gucci at the time.

And not to play little manager/publicist, but this is another example of how...strange her PR can be. We know she sends people flowers on occasion; this seems like the sort of thing where it could have happened again. If Ga is busy, her PR can certainly pretend to be her and sent something out.Then again, maybe she did send a thank you bouquet but didn't provide any feedback on the actual song.

IDK, I'm just thinking of the dog walker thing where it turned out she gave him housing for 6 months, money, flew his fam out, paid his medical bills, etc......but her PR didn't do a thing after he started giving interviews implying he was 'neglected'. He did suddenly become quiet and gave one last interview where he praised/thanked her, which imo implies her PR paid him more money to get him to go away....but they took weeks to do so.

Yeah, this. It's at worst a minor call out/f*ck up on Ga's part, and as fans we know she was busy with HOG at the time period. But...people are acting like Gaga kicked Charlie's kitten. It'd be different if it was a feature on a regular track or a producer of several songs, instead of a remix song that was part of a project that was Bloodpop's baby, imo.

IDK, kind of giving me migraine vibes where some (not all, tbf, as some people on here were just a little disappointed) were acting like one ad erased 15 years of advocacy.

I don’t think Gaga is necessarily in the wrong here. However, as a fan, it’s disappointing to see just how uninvolved she can be in the creative process of something she put out… what happened to music not the bling?

She was busy filming House of Gucci in Italy while Bloodpop was in the USA. The whole project came up right after the ARTPOP Act 2 petition thing. Gaga had the word to say "do it" so Bloodpop started asking fans what or who they wanted to be part of it and he did it. 

This is exactly what "music not the bling" is about. This is a remix album, something for the fans. It barely got any sales outside the fanbase and it was more about letting LGBT+ artists put their own spin on Gaga's music as a celebration.
