Just have to remind everyone that Lady Gaga is a firm Kesha supporter/believer, has said that Dr. Luke's lawyers "should be ashamed of themselves", and had to be hospitalized following a triggering deposition ordered by Dr. Luke and conducted by his lawyers

And also that Kim Petras is an avid Dr. Luke supporter who began working with him post-allegations, worked with him for years under no contractual obligation to do so, released four different projects entirely/near-entirely produced by him, used Gaga's name as a lyric on a sex song produced by him, just dropped a new album featuring multiple songs produced by him, and continues to defend her decision whenever confronted about it

Just have to remind everyone that Lady Gaga supported R Kelly in 2013 when he had already been accused of SA and PDF.  Y’all were very quiet back then and continued to Stan and support Gaga and that particular song.  But okay.  She didn’t apologize/remove the song until R Kelly documentary became out at the same time as her Oscar campaign for A Star is Born.

just have to remind everyone that dr Luke has not been proven guilty or innocent. So it’s all up to your personal bias what you want to believe.  We can choose to remain neutral and not take sides if we choose.

Gaga pulled the video, created the Xtina version, ceased involvement with R Kelly from 2014-on, and eventually released a statement acknowledging her wrongdoing and taking the original song out of circulation permanently. A lot of monsters (including myself) were children back in 2013, and he was still a mainstream act at the time. If Wikipedia's correct, his then-latest court case (in 2008) had him ruled not-guilty, and he wouldn't be seriously questioned again until ~2017, long after Do What U Want and several other pop girl collaborations had already taken place. I'm not saying the collabs were okay, but this was clearly different.

Kim Petras has consistently, continuously been working with and condoning a known, widely-agreed-upon rapist for years with no sign of remorse, introspection or critical thinking. There is substantially more reason to believe that he's guilty than that he's innocent, and she has had no incentive to keep him around as a main collaborator, yet she has never changed her ways or rejected her previous choices.

Kesha has confirmed herself that women are not responsible for men’s behavior, and has obviously gaga would say the same. They just love hating on Kim because she’s an easy target atp

Listen I’m not trying to say anyone is better or holier than anyone.

I'm just saying there clearly are unfair double standards.  Twist it however you want. There’s no loophole around it.

you mention about r Kelly being proven not guilty yada yada.. when was dr Luke proven guilty?

im just speaking from personal experience. I mentioned this in another thread.   But I was falsely accused of raping my friend when he and I were both years 10.  It put me and my family through years of hell and trauma.  I’m not saying Kesha is a liar and that dr Luke was falsely accused- but none of us know the truth or we’re even close to the court room to participate in the trials so it’s not up to us to claim whether dr Luke is a “known rapist”

This is the truth.  They love hating on Kim but will still listen to old Britney Spears dr Luke music or teenage dream etc.  making Kim the villain while still supporting dr Luke’s old music
