If only that third better democratic alternative was really a possibility... Most likely the Wagner guy will end up dead. However, I'm just thinking what the outcome for Putin will be...at least show that internally there's big problems. Regardless, the population doesn't move, seems to be good with Putin in power, so to me, it's still not the time for a real change.

This situation, just seems a problem between militaristic guys (like you said).

Insane. And most people (including myself) figured this would be squashed easily by Putin. Part of me is like 'let 'em kill each other, let's get out of the popcorn' and part of me is worried as they're both awful. Someone on twitter framed it as 'it's criminal fascists against fascist criminals'.

What I'm hoping for is that the militaristic factions mututally destroy each other, while Ukraine liberates itself. It's the best outcome. Hopefully they're both (Wagner and Russian MoD) weakened to the point they're no longer a threat to other countries.

Yup, same. It's just wild to think they are only 300 odd km outside of Moscow at this point.

Probably biggest paramilitary in the world. Right now they have around 25k. And almost all of Russian troops are Ukraine

Very curious how this will play out. I think Putin will survive this however this is the closest someone ever been to a coup in Russia.

Hard to say. Prigozhin heavily criticized the war yesterday. But no doubt that both options are bad. But there's a slight chance that Prigozhin would want to end the war.

I don’t trust this group, they have spent over 12 months killing innocent people in Ukraine. This group are scum.

They criticized Putin for not killing more Ukrainians. And before that, they spent years killing and pillaging innocent Africans with cruel methods. I hope they end each other.
