King of the Fall

Her work ethic is admirable, I saw her twice already and both shows were great. You don't even need to be a big swiftie to really enjoy these performances, I am debating if I should try and get tickets for the European leg.

Hey, I'm king of the world, you ought to hear my song, you come on measure me, I'm twenty inches long

That's interesting that she's touring for basically more than a year (yeah, I know there are small 'breaks'). Those long-as* tours are nearly unheard of nowadays.

It’s giving I’m never gonna your again tbh hit ‘em all then BOUNCE

I am genuinely shocked at the extent of dates in Europe (even more surprised she's going to Liverpool, even British artists tend not to tour there anymore unless it's literally theatre dates). How can she go to only doing the occasional arena date in a few countries there for years, then doing just a handful of stadium dates in just 2 European countries with Reputation and now she's doing an all-stadium tour in 12 European countries, including stadiums in countries she's never toured in? And that the pre-sale demand is well above sell-out level already?

This is a matter of genuine scientific research. I get it, she's built up massive demand from not touring in certain countries ever before (Latin America, especially) and has massive fan demand in general from having 4 albums that she hasn't toured with and the added novelty of doing what is essentially a greatest hits tour. But...even greatest hits tours don't do this well. She never had this level of international demand before. There isn't a single venue where she's doing one date, there's at least 2 everywhere. I've never seen that in the history of artist touring. She was more successful worldwide with 1989 but didn't have this much touring demand. I also don't know what made so many of her fans connect with Midnights more than any other of her albums where they're prepared to buy multiple vinyls. But, simultaneously, her singles from Midnights, apart from Anti-Hero, have not been as big as singles from her previous albums. If her international demand is so huge for touring, why are her albums not selling to the same level in these countries? Basically, I'm saying her Latin American and European touring demand has seemingly come out of nowhere and I'd like a really good explanation as to why.

Um where’s Canada???

Don't hold me to it, but I think there's every likelihood she may do another small victory lap in North America to really round this off. It's inexplicable why Canada, which has always been one of her biggest markets, has been completely snubbed this tour, the tour where she's been going to the most countries she's ever toured in. I wondered if she was just going to do a dew dates there and round it off with her new home of New York or something to really finish off with a bang back where it all started. Her exclusion of NY was odd considering she lives there now and it would be a home gig. I know more artists are going to the MetLife stadium now instead of NY but it's still weird.

I don’t think established artists need to rely on current singles to sell out. Once they have a fanbase and a hit catalog that fans want to hear they will always sell out. Taylor is definitely well beyond having to rely on current hit singles.

it’s very weird and frustrating that Canada has been snubbed. Ticketmaster Canada even changed her pic to the Eras artwork. It has to be coming at some point.

Not true, as of this moment she's only doing one date in Milan, Lisbon, Madrid, Zurich etc.

Not yet, but fairly clear gaps to add additional nights at almost every venue. Assuming sales are strong, which looks very likely.

I mean out of the ones that have officially gone on sale. It appears that she has the gaps to add second dates to these European ones if the sales are strong. I think it's odd that it's claimed that she set a record as the first female to schedule 4 dates at Wembley as Adele had 4 scheduled for Wembley before her. Yes, she cancelled the remaining 2 but the record is based on just scheduling them to begin with.
