Those are still Katy's songs too. Just like Kelly Clarkson, P!nk, Avril Lavigne, etc. many artists and bands have worked with him because he's a hit maker. Artists can't just ignore their past catalogue or stop performing songs that have his name on them. Besides, it's not just Katy's decision to release these things, she has a whole team of people that plan these releases. Even Kesha's own albums are still supporting him. It's a messy situation and I get fans want to do the right thing but there's just no way to cut him off.

I think you lost a (valid) point in this with some very inconsiderate and rude phrasing. Yeah, I agree Katy deserves to celebrate what she made, before any allegations even existed, but people do care about these things, it hurts people. Also it’s not simply a case of anyone ‘not liking him’ and that should be very clear to you by now.

It definitely makes it difficult to support her via streaming. 

On one hand you want to stream the music so that she is able to make at least something off it because she is extremely deserving, but to know that the swine also gets a share is disgusting, to me. 

What I've done is download all the mp3s of her entire discography and mainly play those, however, I often still do stream the music so that she is at least making something. Merch, vinyls, all the same.

I have a playlist on SoundCloud full it illegally uploaded songs that Puke gets credits for so that I don’t give him a single penny. It’s like 99% Kesha songs and like two Doja songs lol 

BUT I do buy as much merch, CDs, and vinyls from Kesha as possible so that she can still get some financial support.

It just sucks that he still makes money off of her. I can’t imagine your boss raping you, traumatizing you, and then still making money off of your own hard work. It literally makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it

Kesha still speaks fondly of her old music, she played TikTok at an award show a few years ago, she was selling vinyl of those albums on her webstore last year, did a Cannibal lyric video a couple years ago, etc. etc. etc. It's the same with Gaga—are you going to abandon all those songs on The Fame that she did with you-know-who? No, and she wouldn't either.

I do not think Kesha would care about this. It's weird to direct your energy towards "X should completely disown and stop selling a massive chunk of their history", when Kesha obviously wouldn't do that herself. Keep putting that energy towards the artists who actively work with this man, who defend his actions and try to make hit songs with his production. Those are the people that are doing something very wrong.
