Everything else was really unnecessary and didn’t progress the story at all. The Valentino scene was dumb. And the hair brush torture at the end was over dramatic overall Sam’s style is getting a bit tired and predictable and underwhelming. but the absolute worst- is The Weeknd’s own fking music playing as the soundtrack the whole episode. The most tacky thing about this show imo. How am I suppose to separate The Weeknd from his character when his music and his voice is underscoring the show?? Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . They even filmed it at his house. He was probably like “MTV Cribs isn’t a thing anymore, so let’s just go ahead and film the show in my home so everyone can see… Oh and make sure everyone knows I **** all the hot girls in Hollywood even tho I’m a short guy.” Lol Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Damon 10,896 Posted June 19, 2023 Share Posted June 19, 2023 k i really wanted to give this show a try but after this episode, i'm heading out it's so tacky and poor written, it looks like they took a fanfic and made it a script lily's character development is actually quite good and interesting but they don't even give it that much screen time ... and now i just sit in silence. Did you mean Layla or howver they spell it?? lol I’m not keeping track of who’s who . You mean her assistant/best friend?? I think all the characters and actors are good , The Weeknd is not even THAT bad- I just feel like the script/plot is lacking so they’re bloating the scenes with drawn out slow motion montages to look edge and use up time. And like I said I can’t stand The Weeknd’s songs playing in the background . This show has potential!! Imo Pronounced like “Balenciaga” .
