She's not totally responsible to be honest. I'm sure she worked hard on this but her release plans were ****ed because of the never ending strike.

Gaga’s release plans are always ****ed by something tbh. She never adapts, she just cancels. Chromatica rumored to be one of the biggest rollouts ever and instead of just retooling things to work in a pandemic era, she just cancelled it all together. I get that she was doing that show thingy and raising money, but she wasn’t doing it for that long.

I just think her priorities are not on music tbh. And we really need to get this in our mind, even if it hurts (especially for people like me who stan her 90% for her music)

I just think her acting career, performing jazz and running HL will always being her focus and what she likes the most. Music will come when it'll come. At least we'll have that Rolling Stones collab to enjoy.

That's mainly why I have some big doubts about any major music project until mid-late 2025 once her campaign for Joker will be fully wrapped with the awards season.

Anyway, I still think CBT event is not cancelled (exactly like The Lady and The Legend). It's just totally impossible to release if she has some promo or talks about it planned.

I think things changed when Tony passed.

First, we will see LADY - The Lady and The Legend
Second, we will see GAGA - The Chromatica Ball

The melody that you choose can rescue you ♥

If that’s what you got out of that, then I’d recommend staying in school

I think she *could* release it but it would be in very poor form to release it given how synonymous she is with the film industry now. I mean, I doubt she was gonna do a talk show tour about it but it’s generally the optics. For example, I have a friend who almost did some horror movie in South Africa. Just would have filmed it that’s it no promo yet. It isn’t part of the strike business BUT as they’re trying to establish credibility in Hollywood, the quickest thing you can do to f that up is fudge the rules of the strike even if you’re not SAG yet. In Gaga’s case, I imagine it’s the same. It’s not like it would get or needs SAG support bc it’s a concert film lmao BUT bc it would go on one of the platforms being striked against I think it would get close to being scab territory to give the platform more content like essentially gives them eyeballs without having to talk to SAG and the WGA. That’s my read on it. It’s political more than anything

On this point I do think they will release the Tony / Gaga documentary because she can count on Tony's team to make the promo job. But that's imply she won't ackowledge it publicly, for strike matter.

But no way CBT is coming before the strike is done. I'm sure she'll have some sort of promo planned for this.

Yeah I mean, it’s one of those things where it’s already announced to go up when it will, there’s really not promo for her to do. It’s kind of a non-starter imo but as we said TCB film is a whole other beast bc it hasn’t been formally announced with a date or location yet. It’s just very different despite seeming somewhat the same

bc even posting about it is promo and sooooo TCB is treading water rn

Really because I could have sworn she performed at the VMAs and filmed a music video during the height of extremely strict pandemic restrictions. She didn't have to do those things but she did! She literally adapted. Just not to your satisfaction I guess.
