She doesn’t want to release the song but the company is desperate to sell tickets to a tour she had previously canceled so she desperately needs a comeback. They are forcing her to release this song and that’s plays a part on the plot. im not saying the show is good or anything just that it’s supposed to sound like an empty mediocre pop song.
