Gaga originated “I’m the problem, it’s me.”

Gaga's sounds less like self-victimisation to be honest.

There's a difference between "My biggest enemy is me" and "Hi I'm the problem it's me it must be hard always rooting for the anti-hero".

911 is like someone actually acknowledge their issue maybe feel powerless against it but generally a self improving song

anti hero glamorized the self victimization, it's not empowering at all.

911 is a journey of accepting your mental health, your faults and mistakes and instead of being the victim, it's a cry for help from others, to give a chance to heal and to get better.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

"I'm my own worst enemy" - P!nk, a solid 2 decades before either of these songs came out :trollga:

I know what you’re getting at, there’s definitely something to that!

I think 911 is more about dealing with personal demons, whereas Anti-Hero is about struggling with anxiety about how you’re being perceived by others/people pleasing issues. I think they’re both fantastic though. They cover a lot of ground together, Gaga’s being about an internal struggle, Taylor’s being more about anxious interactions with others.

No, in this world. We are on Gaga Daily, so it is obvious that nobody here is going to accept it, but it's always good to get out of this bubble and see things as they really are
