It was overly sexual for no other purpose other then just for the sake of it IMO and Abel's acting is amateur at best, and that's me being generous. Troye did great though.

Are we surprised? Blinks boycotted that mess once they found out Jennie has like 3 seconds and how messy the show and it’s making is despite how much they tried to milk having her on the cast by sending her to every red carpet and interview. I also saw that snippet The Weeknd posted when he tried to act smug on twitter and his acting was a*s. Literally nobody cares.

I have watched what has been released so far out of curiosity, it is kinda boring and the plot is weak but its not nearly as terrible as the media was making it out to be. Its honestly about what I expected.

No but it’s not bad either. Really good for how bad the reviews were. A bit short of Euphoria’s premiere, but more than some of their other current shows. Also for their big Sunday night shows HBO only gets around 10-20% of their per episode viewership from night 1, so by the end of the season that number will go up.
