I love him so much right now. What a cool thing to say, and he is right it’s not fair to anyone to hold each other to unrealistic archetypes or stereotypes that influence or may limit people’s ability to comfortably express or be themselves, gay or straight. What the world & society can teach or push when it comes to masculinity is very destructive too, for both gay and straight men. Why can’t we all be more soft, why can’t we all just be ourselves like when we were kids, our straight allies need that freedom and pride too, and it’s very refreshing to hear this response.
