I really think "Hate Me Harder" could be sent to Hot AC / Contemporary Hit Radio. It's a pretty straightforward pop ballad. But I don't think they want to spend on traditional promo for this album.

I know she probably just wants to give her label the bare minimum. but love me harder and others have SO much potential. I think that songs like hit me harder could really be a hit if done correctly.

Deserves so much more. I’m glad she isn’t doing what she thinks will succeed and us just doing music she genuinely likes. I’d rather have a true artist than someone who churns out hits that they don’t personally enjoy any day of the week mama

I don't really like her last three albums (this one included). Don't really find it entertaining enough for me to cling to. Though I'm glad she's doing what she likes, she went through difficult times, so wish only the best for her :kara:

I can't believe no one pointed out that Only Love Can Save Us Now sounds like Beyonce's Formation :oprah:

How, it’s literally the most basic rhyme/rap/melodic scheme out there.

So far this is my ranking of her work:

1. Gag Order - 10/10

2. High Road - 9.5/10

3. Rainbow - 9/10

4. Warrior - 8.4/10

5. Animal - 8.1/10

6. Cannibal  - 7.4/10

I feel like the album is just treading the same themes over and over again that she did on both High Road and Rainbow. Now keep in mind, I understand that trauma is forever, and she is clearly using her art to work through everything that's happened to her. But I feel like the order of albums is... off?

This album feels like it should've come out when Rainbow came out, and that this release should have the tentative optimism of Rainbow.

To be fair to her, recovery from anything traumatic isn't linear and I do want to honor and hold space for whatever she is still going through and dealing with. I'm just saying that as a fan and consumer of her art, the message is getting muddled.

And what about it :ohwell:

High Road deserves more (Chasing Thunder, Resentment, and Cowboy Blues specifically) Rainbow has some fun cuts that people didn’t appreciate as much as they should (Learn To Let Go, Boots, Boogie Feet, Hunt You Down, Godzilla)
