isn't that the other girl, who someone here used a couple of pages ago as an example to say that people don't bully eden because she's from israel, but because she's pro-war (without any evidence btw.)

now tali is a zionist too? xd

Our Dutch commentator, Cornald Maas, calls the decision made by the EBU disgraceful and disproportionate. The incident has nothing to do with Israel or the Israeli delegation. Apparently the incident hardly amounts to anything.

Hopefully we’ll find out more about what’s happened soon.

Good that this clarification has been made. I hope people learn to wait for the facts before making absurd accusations.

That aint happening, dont worry.

Dejare de quererte cuando un pintor sordo pinte el sonido de un pétalo al caer en el suelo de cristal de un castillo que no existe.

don't bother replying to some people in this thread guys - they are not coming out of their echo chamber.

:holdmyhand:

Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?

SVT is pressuring The EBU to reconsider Joost his diqualification and they are in crisis meeting again. I can’t make this up.

Regardless of where everyone stands politically, what happened yesterday was absurd. People rushing to blame an Israeli woman and her team for something she had nothing to do with.

This is exactly what leads people to think there's an antisemitism problem when it comes to this topic. Reminds me of witchhunts in medieval times. You'd spread a rumor a woman you don't like is a witch, and everyone just blindly believes it.

Everyone should reflect on it and learn to not instantly believe the worst about people they don't like.

It's not the woman, it's her team. They knew what was coming and EBU is allowing Israël to participate into ESC, while Russia and Belarus has been taken out of contest since the war. Doesn't make sense. :deadbanana:

Regardless, it's the woman who took the heat nonetheless.

I don't care whether Israel or Russia are taken out of the contest. But people blindly believing accusations is a dangerous precedent. Just because you don't like somebody, it doesn't give you a license to lie and spread lies about them.

It's the woman who is representing Israël and joining forces for the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Don't forget she even stated that herself. She deserves the hate for that reason alone. :deadbanana:

It would have been amazing if she stood up against the actions the right-wing government is taking.
