Yes sure but for me Eurovision during covid was tragic and I don't consider it 'official' but I'm weird. Beside that they had like 2 entries in the top 10 in the last 25 years that's not good

I knew and loved Mua before eurovision and I Wrote A Song is actually one of the best pop entries of eurovision for me. But the performance was... something.

it's because our selection process is absolutely terrible. we have artists like charli xcx, rina sawayama, paloma faith, maisie peters, ellie goulding, lily allen... and all of the smaller/indie artists they've inspired, but they always select some artist whose charting history is peaking at #39 on some random dj's tropical house track from 2018.

i actually cannot remember the last time our entry was a song or artist that was remotely recognisable or impactful. and when they actually pick a good artist, it's a bland performance with an acoustic guitar that leaves all the impact of a balloon with no air in it.
