Those DO look similar to the Chromatica promotional art, but a lot of that comes down to referencing fanzine culture of the 90s, which was present for both the ballroom and club scene. I think the fans trying to turn this into something more than what it likely is are doing too much.

I love Chromatica and I never said it was a flop, I said it was not one of the biggest 2020 albums in terms of staying power which is 100% accurate. She got a number 1 because of the streaming monster that is Ariana Grande and once Chromatica dropped it quickly fell off the charts and most people forgot about it. Chart success has nothing to do with the quality of the album but Little Monsters need to stop acting like it was a bigger smash than it actually was. And my words about Madonna was clearly just a joke, I enjoy poking fun at the morons who lost their **** about Born This Way ripping off Express Yourself.
