American Christianity is... well... not particularly Christian. A lot of it is wrapped up in nationalism and white supremacy. When I was little, I used to go to Summer Bible School at the local churches, and I remember that they would have us recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing the national anthem every day. Those things have absolutely NOTHING to do with Christianity, but it was a form of indoctrination. American conservative Christians are very unique. They claim to follow the Bible and the teachings of Jesus, but in reality, they worship conservative government and American white supremacist nationalism. They consistently vote for far-right conservative politicians because they supposedly think they're doing what God wants them to do, but in really, they're just trying to invalidate people that they don't like. You are only found "likely" to have committed the infraction on someone.
