The “ride it ride it ride it ride it” line makes me cringe. Nicki’s part is good and the video is amazing, but for me it is like every other song is a solid bop. Why not stick with the same producer or songwriters that produced songs like Unholy, Icy, Heart to Break that helped propel her career (with the exception of Dr. Puke) until the GP support and cravings are more sturdy? It took Gaga a few album cycles to really let loose with her direction and artistic freedom.

Kim never stops to amaze me, because her music is always either a 10/10 bop, or something I won't listen to more than once. There's literally nothing in between, sadly Alone falls under the 2nd category.

It happens to songs that chart thanks to sales. Billboard only counts 1 digital sale per lifetime - so if someone bought the song again in the second week then Billboard did not count it as a sale.

i was really excited for the song when i heard the snippet. But then when it dropped I was just really disappointed. I like most of her songs, but it was just missing something. It just kinda rode on the back of that sample
