Even if it is a more personal album, this is Ed Sheeran we are talking about.

The guy who sells 99p signed cd singles with free delivery in the UK to get a number 1.

He obviously cares about the charts and studies them so this is undoubtedly a disappointment for him.

The point IS, he's been underperforming for months. He's not interesting anymore like he was before and people finally understood that he's been singing the same song over and over again.

I think it has to be.  Curtains and Eyes Closed will probably be the only songs added to the Mathmatics Tour setlist (hence why he’s doing the Subtract theater tour).  It almost feels like he wanted to put Curtains on Equals but was forced to save it to get a “commercial song” on Subtract.

Edit: Wow he nixed Equals songs and included a lot more of Subtract than I thought last night.  However, I’ll be SO DISAPPOINTED if I don’t get Lego House at my date.

Aaron Dessner is credited as co-writer on Curtains so it has to be one of songs they recorded last year. Eyes Closed is from 2018 and was re-recorded with new lyrics in 2022.

I saw the setlist from last night and I am SO happy. I’m thrilled to see 5 songs from Subtract. Only thing I need is The Hills of Aberfeldy, fingers crossed he adds it. I heard him sing Lego House back in 2015 so I’d rather see him keep Give Me Love, he didn’t sing it at my date for the X or Divide tour, I’ve been waiting so long lol. Hope you get Lego House for your date though!

Yes it was written with Aaron in 2022! It was about how when you go through tough times you retreat and shut yourself off from the world and it takes people close to us to draw the curtains and bring us back out. @Jack3257

I got Give Me Love at one of my Divide dates.  My only problem is that it is so long he had to cut another song to play it.

yes, if she releases an acoustic album, not something LM want. Love For Sale did 1.1M on its 1st day, you didn't care about this project because it wasn't genre of music you wanted.
