Me too. Plus ever since, there's tons a beautiful masks to choose from. So I don't mind wearing it either.

Last year I spent 10 days in the same flat with my brother who had covid. Wearing a mask in any part of the place outside of my own room. Closed. I didn't catch it (most painful was my cat I had to left out whining all night long in front of my door...). And countless other places I went wearing a mask. I never caught covid.

So yes, today I still don't go in any mall or crowded place I can't avoid to go to, whithout wearing a mask. I want to see how it evolves. What are the symptoms of those who get it now or next winter. Not vaccinated (not antivax either, just didn't want to take the risk to recall some of my most painful allergies, now gone since years).

But the mask is a very efficient protection, for sure. And I don't care if I'm the only one around wearing it.

I’m with those who still mask. Especially grocery’s stores or air travel. I may be biased but my mom and grandpa (and 2 more family members) just got covid and have been testing pos. for a week. Mom and grandpa fully vaxed and has avoided it for 3 years. Seems like another contagious strain popped up this year? Couldn’t find much on the Google though.
 

While it is trending downward, it doesn’t seem over, imho. I just wish we were still talking about it and promoting continued vaccination.

I got it for the first time this year. I took paxlovid and it literally makes you feel better almost immediately and test negative quickly, it’s crazy.

And we have no treatment for it. its actually incredible, all we have are the rna vacines. I havent understood if theyll still be available and free. 
my doses have surely basically worned off even if i had covid. 
A situation that was handled poorly in every sense. 
i was just watching scrubs the other day where jd diagnoses a case of sars and they have to undergo quarentine. And 24 3rd season is of a pulmonar disease that well is probably a fantasy of that. But we lived it not on local but global scale.

Quite surprised by the amount of people here that still wear masks. I did as I was told during pandemic but my god I haven’t owned one for about a year, couldn’t stand it. I’d say 99.9% of people don’t wear them in London anymore.

I suspect that it has something to do with me being not in crowds and busy places a lot (like restaurants, bars, clubs and so on). But on the other hand, I use public transport a lot and my brother and best friend I spend a lot of time with are teacher who had it often (but I never caught it from them).

I guess those are "pandemics" of a different scope tho. HIV and Monkey Pox to a large degree u can take precautions against it and most ppl manage to avoid it.

 

When ppl think of word pandemic I think they often imagine the worse outbreaks like Spanish Flu, H1N1, Sares and now Covid-19 cuz they just spread like wildfire and a huge number of ppl get infected all at once and efforts to avoid it often fail

 

I almost feel the like word "pandemic" should be broken down into a special category when it's major ones like this cuz HIV and Monkey Pox is definitely not even close to the same kind of scope as covid
