I really like Joanne but I can totally see her diving in that folk-ish sound at a later stage of her career, so I'd rather get it then. Now, if we were to get a “stripped down” era, I found the idea of a jazz oriented project more exciting, but not covers and classic vibes like C2C and LFS, but original songs and something with an edge, like Gaga's very own Back To Black.
