I’ve been thinking about LG7 a lot, because this time I genuinely have no idea what direction Gaga is going into and what kind of album it will be, so I wanted to ask what everyone thinks. Personally, I think maybe she’ll do something more R&B-like, for example more songs like Second Time Around for example. Imagine an album full of songs like that! What do you think? I think she could make something good with Kid Harpoon (Jessie Ware, Harry Styles, Lizzo, Miley, Maggie Rodgers), but he's sort of having a moment in pop and maybe that would be too played out. But something sort of indie rock/dream pop could be a fun sound for Gaga. Like Joanne, but lighter and brighter and less country and classic rock influenced. I would also totally endorse her going in a house/disco direction a la Jessie Ware. Collaborating with Stuart Price and Purple Disco Machine and Kid Harpoon would probably result in some bops. Lastly, I could see her honoring ARTPOP's 10 year anniversary by not releasing ARTPOP II but something inspired by ARTPOP, with some of the producers from DOC. A really chaotic mixture of hyper-pop, house, and electro meant for clubs and fans and not radio. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
