What Gags me is how this show is still running and has viewers?? Winning this show means literally nothing, not in terms of talent but in terms of making a big name for yourself,  and it’s been that way for at least 10 years

There's 2 things that make it not comparable to Simon Cowell:

- Simon Cowell was an asshole in the past, not so much lately. He has been more objective and somewhat more of a softie in the past few years, reflecting our changes in society.

- Simon Cowell owns the shows he's on, Katy is just an employee.
