Just 4 employees up front talking to each other and scanning our things. Why would you want to be approached by the staff or asked about your customer experience? In my country thats mostly considered annoying. Its a transaction - not a in depth experience.

There's no transaction to be made if one can't find something. And although the customer could certainly go to the employees, it doesn't hurt when they're the only ones in the store and there's 4-5 employees standing around. I understand in places like Germany it's very much on your own and if you need something you can ask, and that's fine.

Tbh Being from Canada and Portugal and having lived in both I can definitely see lots of subtle differences in things or behavior that are considered normal or ok in one culture but not the other... And it's not always wrong or right. It's just different

VasilisVas 5,213
I’m not surprised. I feel like bed bath & beyond was fairly expensive even with the coupons. It’s become so much easier to find things online for cheaper. Only sad thing is all the people losing their jobs.
