It’s like if you asked a white old conservative man to describe rap music. Just aimless boasting and generic. At least Cake Like Lady Gaga had some double entendres and wit to it. ARTPOP Nice production but the lyrics are a major dud. You have to buy into the idea of ARTPOP meaning something it doesn’t. Swine Awful production and mastering. It should go x100 harder but instead sits in purgatory and is forgettable. Dope Great verses and I like the delivery despite what some fans say about “Dope vocals” but the line “I need you more than dope” could be one of the cringiest things Gaga has wrote. I remember when it was released I was so hyped after her saying she'll perform a new song, then I've heard it and started crying because I've never imagined Gaga releasing something so generic But I fell in love with this version, the orchestral parts and distortions during/after chorus add a lot of depth to the song, it's the only version of The Cure I listen to, but I've learned to not hate the original after some years I've been getting messages from my deep waters Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
