sorta. organizations can buy a gold check for $1000/month and then anyone associated with that organization can buy their own gold check for $50/month

Gaga doesn't need that blue checkmark by elon to get verified. her 80+ milliion fans are her "validation" that she is the real deal.

 

i rather get validation by my 80+ million fans than one billionaire. metrics and numbers should speak for itself.

She probably paid for it for two factor authentication I find it bizarre that they have that security feature locked behind a monthly payment

Barrack Obama had Twitter Blue as well but I doubt he cares about the check mark
