For anyone who's interested: I've just watched it and it's absolutely the worst in the franchise lol it didn't even feel like an Insidious movie

The idea of horror franchises getting worst with time is not always true but quite often... It f*cking is. 😆

I agree. The thing is they had many years to write and shoot something good, but this one is a rehashing of the first two movies with a slower pace, dumb characters, low rate of suspense and annoying jumpscares you can see coming from a mile. Plus Patrick Wilson is a good actor, but as a director he's the epitome of flat. 

Also the trailer was misleading, and the movie felt like a recap of the first two just to prepare for future episodes. Almost nothing happens and it's quite forgettable, such a disappointment. Even the eerie music is not there anymore
