Girl how :rip:

I feel the complete opposite. Most if my friends at that time liked JD for Gaga’s parts and were shocked to find out that the “What You Got” dude aka Colby was part of it, which is funny because he was WAY more famous than Gaga was at that time because of his huge hit song

Wait, he has another huge hit song aside from JD?

And I think he’s an okay guy. I do also wonder why he didn’t make it big after JD.

This song was huge, at least where I’m from. It was in the radio all the time. And it was a hit before Just Dance came out. Which is why it was funny seeing my friends shocked that he was on Gaga’s song, cause Gaga bodied that whole thing.

I think the perception is mostly due to Akon leaving Gaga and selling out when he thought she wasn't a good investment anymore, after ARTPOP.

In the beginning I truly believe he fought for Gaga and helped catapult her to where she needed to be.

yeah, it's no secret that he turned against her just like so many other people close to her, but that doesn't make you can just outright lie about it. lol

he was definitely integral to getting radio stations to start giving her attention. I think people forget how insanely huge akon used to be

The way JD is probably his biggest claim to fame and it still wasn't enough to keep him relevant  :laughga:

I don't dislike his part but I hate that most new female singers are forced to have male voices in their songs for them to be considered to be released.

english is not my native language >.<
