I’m surprised how this fanbase react to this. Look at Swifties, they’re all begging for something and always get it in the end( All Too Well 10 minute version). Why can’t be like them? Taylor never said her fans begging for something made her sad or draw some negative feelings. If not us (fans), who can appreciate her work and artistry, then who?

he had a lot of passion for it and is wanting to get it done but there’s still a lot of hoops he has to go through. Finding everyone, the record label, Gaga being down for it, and I doubt he alone would produce the track so maybe getting back to collab with others.

I would love Act II in any capacity as much as anyone else, and I don’t know anything at all about DJWS other than he produced many incredible tracks for Gaga in the past. He has a right to want to drop stuff he worked hard on, and a right to speak freely on those works’ existence in general, absolutely.

That said, I have to admit that I would like to not hear from him re: Act II/unreleased tracks anymore UNTIL there is a definitive, official, Gaga-confirmed plan to release something. Again, he technically has a right to talk about it as he pleases, as it is his work as much as Gaga’s. But at this point, it’s tiring to hear “act ii” this, “act ii” that from him  on so many occasions when he knows there is zero chance of anything substantial happening—at least thus far. It (objectively, not subjectively) gives the appearance that he is outside of Gaga’s current creative sphere in such a way that he feels the need to incessantly remind the GP/monsters of his legacy with Gaga (understandably, to an extent) but it has now become too performative and click-baity to actually make progress on releasing said material. We’ve been having these moments with him for years now, and if it’s just going to repeatedly end in nothing, then it would be best for everyone if he just closes the book and waits for Gaga to approach him/reopen the conversation (as her label permits). When she is ready and able to go down that path, I’d welcome him to talk infinitely about what could come of it. But until then, I would truly appreciate him being transparent with us that this is literally just him speaking in passing about what he’d love to do, nothing more. On that note, as much as I love and appreciate him and his work, I would never take anything he says to be even the slightest bit of a “hint” or “foreshadowing” of things to come. Unfortunately, I feel that we will never get any substantial official releases from Act II—and even if we do, I will not believe it until the album is playing on Spotify directly in front of me, much less speculating that there’s even a remote chance of Act II coming simply bc DJWS posts something about it.
