lol just to remind him that the US got dragged into many conflicts of Europe,

They often did what was the best for them in order to not be the next target on the list of a growing empire, lose good trade or diplomatic partners etc.

Not dissing this choice of them btw. But "dragged into" seems like they didn't kinda need to do so as well.

I don't think he wants to stop diplomacy at all. Rather be careful with not following a pro-war plan that would lead to WW3 for sure.

or you can just leave NATO and the EU.

He's not talking about the EU but for NATO it may be in the air at terms and better for all,  Americans included imo.

OK if you read this article it's pretty clear all he's saying is that France no longer supports Taiwan and will let China take control of it. So, he's enjoying some Chinese money.

Take Ukraine for example. You really think America is trying to help them from the goodness of their hearts? Even Europe told America to stop escalating everything with Putin, and yet...what did the US do? Try to fight a proxy war with Russia as usual and likely bombed Nordstream 2. As usual at the exepense of Europe of course. Either way, the US is always trying to dictate law and order in Europe and play Europe to their advantage in general. So yes, I would be happy if we moved away from the US and became more independent because America clearly gives 0 ****s about Europe if it doesn't benefit them. America is always so hesitant to help their allies in times of need but wants the entire world to come to their rescue when something happens on their soil.

It's U.S who wanted war in Ukraine? Nevermind the fact that Putin annexed Crimea in 2014, nevermind the fact that he sent his own russian nationals to lead sieges on Ukrainian cities in 2014 (like Igor Girkin who's literally a russian citizen, came from russia to lead the minitry of defense of the so-called independent republics). Never mind the fact that 3 russian citizens shot down a civilian airplane flying over Ukraine in 2014. What the **** did europeans do about any of that? Nothing. They'd quickly throw Ukraine under the bus if it came down to that, except maybe Poland and the baltics.

And the war started way before Nord Stream 2 (which was bombed by Ukrainians by the way, per NYT). And the fact that you care more about a pipeline that was already shut down than all the **** Russia has been doing since then literally proves my point.

You are clueless just about everything you've touched on in this post. And you should verify your information before spreading propaganda here.

Gosh what happened to this website. If you're not gonna put the effort into educating yourself about the chain of events and what lead to this, you don't have to give an opinion that is based on a lack of knowledge.

Dennis, Europe didn't want anything to do with the Ukraine war and the US kept escalating it with threats back and forth and then everything became about nuking each other.

And you are the one to talk about giving an opinion about some things you don't know much about judging by your back and forth between a certain member in this forum. You would be a fool if you think that the US doesn't use Europe as its playground or even care about anything that's going on in this continent if doesn't benefit them. If Ukraine wasn't a buffer zone the US wouldnt give two shits about them and just let Russia take over. America wants to keep its influence over Europe for the same reasons Russia wants influence over Europe. I think Europe should grow a backbone and deal with its issues themselves instead of relying on daddy America. Again, the US doesn't care about Europe, they don't want to defend Europe if it doesn't benefit them. Therefore, Europe should break away from American influence and become more independent.

I gave you detailed reply with facts and sources. You come back with this vague nonsense. I don't have time for this. Believe whatever nonsense you want to believe. I need to make my peace with the fact that even on GagaDaily there may be ignorant takes on geopolitical issues.

Nonsense? Do you even do any reading at all? Do you take your time to research why European leaders are growing distant from the US? I think you are being extremely ignorant about geopolitical issues here.

Yes it's vague nonsense when you fail to explain how those events I outlined for you, annexation of crimea, sending russian troops to fight inside ukraine in 2014 and shooting down civilian airplane killing 200+ onboard are fault of U.S escalation. Unless you're a believer in the fact that Ukrainians didn't have the right to protest against their corrupt president in 2014 and you blame the U.S for it?

U.S taxpayers spent 110B$ of their money to stop Russia from steamrolling Europe. And this is what we get in return. People like you literally prove MAGA isolationists right. It's sad. In any case, you can do your homework, I'm not gonna do it for you.

The Europeans argued that the American health and food standards were too different from the EU standards and that opening the EU food market to the US agricultural producers would inevitably lead to degrading the food and health standards in Europe.

That is true and Europe is right. American food is not food, it is poisoned chemistry and should not be available in Europe, nowhere in the world and their health standards are ruled by some food companies that allow toxic ingredients that are cheap to produce and make people addicted. Mexico did what Europe warned about, Mexico entered the free trade zone (NAFTA) with the US, allowed US food products in, got many of them and as a conseuqence obesity skyrocketed in Mexico and people became rapidly extremely unhealthy:

"NAFTA Largely Responsible for the Obesity
Epidemic in Mexico

Obesity has notoriously been an American problem. However, in
2013, Mexico surpassed the United States to become the most obese
country in the world. There are a number of suspected causes for
Mexico’s rise in the ranks. On a global scale, there is an increased
availability of obesogenic foods, largely as a result of globalization
trends such as “McDonaldization” and “Coca-Colonization.” In Mexico’s case, the changing food environment is linked to the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)."

https://openscholarship.wustl.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1916&context=law_journal_law_policy

Unfortunately, Canada is already used as a loophhole backdoor for US products in Europe and much of the food industry is already partially in a horrifying state. Whenever, I see American food products I instantly ditch them, the list of chemical ingredients is long and shocking to read, yet they become more and more each year because Amrican firms have an aggressive monopoly. I feel sorry for everyone who has to live on USA and has no access to non-chemically treated food there.
