Gaga is the LAST person who would come after a drag queen for performing unreleased material :sis:

If anything she'd tip you and twirl :glamourpuss:

LOOL I didn’t even think about the legality of even performing her released material 💀💀 I know these queens ain’t paying **** to cover Poker Face 💅🏻

If you're preforming in a club that regularly hosts live performances they likely have a license that covers copyrighted music being performed. If they don't, that's on them if someone complains (also probably pretty unlikely to be a huge problem I'd guess).

You'd only run into trouble personally if say you filmed your performance and put it on youtube, it might get taken down, or if you tried to profit personally in some other way.

So basically, you're good to go!

I sang vanity few times on stage :derpga:

the stuff is, most of the unreleased  songs are still on her ascap and bmi account (aka the right stuff) and if your local club pay for the right of diffusion, then “Lady Gaga” will be paid for the diffusion, but quite frankly, most of the times, club don’t declare music used during a drag show

technically there is such thing as performance copyright but that comes into play if you are profiting from the performance. that being said, like everyone else has mentioned, the chance of thing being an issue is slim. I say give her unreleased the recognition it deserves! what song were you considering?

This. Also, Gaga lives for queens performing her music. Go for it!

According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch
