Anyone have Nintendo Switch Online? What do you think of it?

Just discovered that if I want to Wonder Trade in Pokemon Scarlet in my new Switch Lite, I need an online membership. 

What do you guys think? Is it worth the $79 dollars a year? Do any of you have a slot for cheaper or free? Maybe we could make GGD family plan!

$79 a year??? You can get it for like $20 USD for a year. I don’t know about Wonder Trade, but I’m pretty sure the Expansion Pass is the more expensive tier that’s not needed to play online.

Yeah, $79 a year is for the online membership + expansion pack (it includes games for Nintendo 64, Sega, and a bunch of early Nintendo games!). I think it’s worth it! I’m actually considering getting the family plan soon to share!

The expansion pack is absolutely worth it if you're into playing N64, Snes, Genesis, Gameboy & GBA! they release a random game every few weeks with Pokemon Stadium coming on the 12th! Also, if you have Mario Kart 8, you get the booster course expansion, so it almost doubles the amount of tracks the original game came with!

I love it, it's literally like getting 248 full games for the price of one switch game

Online membership without expansion pack is fine for trading in Pokémon.  

BUT expansion pass is $79? It costs €39,99 in Germany. That’s like $44.
