RAMROD 87,013
The new “Try Galaxy” demo tool gives iPhone owners the chance to virtually try out the software of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 4, all without leaving their current device. On visiting the Try Galaxy website, iPhone owners are prompted to “install” a web app by adding the site to their homescreen. Samsung is clearly aiming this at iPhone owners, and when you open the page up on an Android device (such as a Pixel), you can’t try it out. Once that’s done, the “app” gives users a “little taste of Samsung Galaxy” by simulating One UI 5.1, Samsung’s skin on top of Android 13. From there, there’s a quick navigation tutorial, and then you’re good to play around with the UI. Everything works roughly the same as on a Samsung device, but it’s noticeably laggier, probably because it is just running through a web app. Experiences you can try include Samsung and Google’s core apps, including Google Messages (which, hilariously, doesn’t use RCS and rather prominently shows SMS/MMS – probably not the greatest advertisement). Samsung will send some fake messages as you use the demo to show other features of the device, such as the camera and Object Eraser, a tool that can remove objects from a photo just like Google’s Magic Eraser. https://9to5google.com/2023/03/31/samsung-galaxy-demo-iphone/ Samsung be hustling (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ 努力 未来, A BEAUTIFUL ST𖤐Я (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡ 11 2

Fuffy 872
That’s not a bad idea to be fair, it would really help convince users to switch if they were thinking about it. I avoid Samsung for their bloatware and their reputation for electronics that overpromise and break easily. But android is probably the best OS out there when used to its full potential. I’m now an iPhone user and former android user but some android models are amazing. I miss my Google keyboard 😭

Kimmo 70,445
Good marketing to be honest, I think T-Mobile is doing the same, you can use an app or something to try their service but…. they suck so is pointless Hottie Detector

Lucas 18,543
I had Samsung phone for years then iPhone for years and I gotta say Samsung is way easier to use. There are so many things that would make using an iPhone way more enjoyable
Helxig 35,587
Smart idea I guess, for people who are already considering changing over but don't know if they'll like the different UI. Personally I hate Apple as a company but love iPhones I just think they're so much more intuitive, and when everyone you know has iPhones too they're so compatible Also every other phone's emoji's are f.ucking horrendous and I'm not giving up my perfect Apple emojis they're beyond superior I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
