They broke international and domestic laws though. For example, the law in America does not allow politicians to use torture, even if its during war in foreign countries. When they tried to hold Bush accountable and impeach him, Nancy Pelosi tried to hide evidence of his tortures. The only people heald accountable are journalists and military members who exposed these crimes. Sadly, torture still continues today in Guantanamo Bay, and whistle blowers like Chelsea Manning are still punished and abused by the media and goverment.
