Canada's Population grew by 1,050,110 in 2022 the first time in it's history the countries population grew by 7 figures in one year and at 2.7% growth rate was also the fastest growth rate among developed Nations.

 

Immigration accounted for 95% of that growth 

 

Despite a severe strain on the housing market, polls suggest there is still support for high immigration among the general population and business community

Lol. Ironically the idea of so much immigration is letting younger ppl in to offset ageing population

 

And if they were hesitant to raise retirement age before, the difficulty of doing so in France probably further emphasizes to the government the need to bring in workers lol
