They are probably the most serious of all the awards shows and wouldn't toy with rumors and surprises like this. Gaga probably heard the rumors of disappointment and changed her mind last minute. For whatever reason why she felt the need to, we won't know. But we know she's been pandering to the Hollywood crowd for years now and probably felt this could negatively affect her down the road.  It could be as simple as her feeling flattered that her absence left so many disappointed. 🤷‍♂️ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
