I'm holding out for a gen z rediscovery of their catalogue because No Doubt owned the late 90s/2000s... they don't get enough credit for what they did. While the original is pretty unilateral (this is not to drag it, I absolutely lovs the original and as a huge ND fan I always will), this one took me on like 3-4 different journeys as the tempo started off slow, then picked up, the slow again and so on.. and with the contrast in the simplicity versus the fullness of the different parts of it. I wouldnt have expected any less from the super talented Florence and the Machine but at the same time this is not how I imagined it to be (because I'm no where near in genius level as them lol).
