I also struggle, I live paycheck to paycheck, I work and Door Dash both just to cover my bills. But to selfishly think other people should struggle just because I also struggle is...insane. That's such a twisted point of view. I will gladly send some of my taxes to help someone in a lower bracket than me get stamps. Even if my bracket is close to theirs, they're still below me and therefore are in more need of help than I. I don’t think the qualifications are right is what I’m trying to say, a lot of people who don’t need them or just use them to sell them shouldn’t be getting them, and if someone’s struggling in general anyone should qualify for them Atleast temporarily. i get over $300 taken out of my checks by taxes and likewise with alot of other people, but can’t claim food stamps because the government deems otherwise. another example of how the system is ****ed is literally my brother has seizures every now and then like 4-8 months apart and they aren’t bad at all. Hence lots of people still risking coming here, especially illegally. People only go to the place closest to them. Especially many of these who fled their country for asylum are limuted by circumstances and had to do it in non traditional way, i.e: such unsafe small boats, or trailer trucks. On one side, I have nothing against people who are running from danger or looking for a better life. Those samples helped me to understand what would be the best to include in my paper, and now I have to choose those info pieces to provide the most valuable info. Yes, it's true that America is quite far from the wars we have in the world now, and the ocean separates it from external danger. But what about the danger we have in the country? No There's always ppl who abuse the system I certainly saw some ppl do that here in Canada with CERB benefits during the pandemic but...
