qoqo 3,797
“Did You know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd feels once again so different from what she’s done before and yet a collage of everything she’s ever made — it even ends with the grimy, heavy, original and unheard version of ‘Venice Bitch’ — is testament to where Del Rey is nine studio albums into her career.” (From The Rolling Stone interview) the track is called Taco Truck x VB, now we now what it stands for

Sneaky Oliver 22,236
She made this album to become a hit and to be heard just like NFR. It’s pretty different compared to Chemtrails and BB. She even stated on the RSUK interview that BB was not supposed to be heard by the masses and that’s why she didn’t promote it as much. I appreciate this approach like not every album is supposed to be big, some of them are just there to tell the story

I appreciate this approach like not every album is supposed to be big, some of them are just there to tell the story You can definitely hear it in the production and the subject matter, BB just seems like one of those records for her to vent out her current feelings (especially the songs about COVID / that whole era). It’s nice when artists do things like that, you can tell that their music is actually important to them and not always just a product or message to the world, it’s art.
