by that logic, mariah carey is better than beyonce cuz her vocal agility is second to none 

mariah carey is far superior technically than beyonce, so does that make her better? 

gaga has a real and raw stage persona, she does follow choreo but she has speeches in between songs, she interacts with the audience, and she can bang out tunes on the piano and make you cry without it being rehearsed. beyonce is great but it comes off as extremely rehearsed. 

also gaga's 2009 vmas performance of paparazzi is better than any live performance of beyonces, and i know because ive seen both of all their lives. 

beyonce is great but her fans need to stop acting like shes the creator of all pop music, because its a turn off when yall like to say other ppl arent deserving of all praise, and shes the only one who deserves praise.

some like gaga, some like bey 

i personally know beyonce is an amazing performer but her stage persona is very rehearsed, literally every moment is rehearsed it doesnt come off as real 

gaga has a raw stage presence and she can kill it on a piano. 

in terms of appealing to a wide audience gaga for sure is number one, she can sing - pop, jazz, heavy metal, classical, show tunes, r&b, just about every genre on the planet. theres so many ppl 60+ who love gaga and go see her in vegas. 

beyonce is amazing but she doesnt appeal to as many people. 

also gaga has had more iconic viral moments on tv in recent history - sound of music, shallow at the oscars, inauguration, national anthem superbowl and her own SB show. i dont remember an iconic bey performance other her superbowl show in recent years.

to prefer a white pop star over a black one is not racist and saying it is racist takes away from actual racism thats happening in the world. theres instances where black people are killed just for being black, theres black trans women who are being hunted because ppl are so hateful, black women compared to white women make less money for the same exact position in the workforce, black ppl are still affected by environmental racism in a way no other group is affected by. For you to say ppl preferring gaga to beyonce is racist is a slap in the face to those ppl who are actually being affected.
