I do hear Taylor on it and surprised at how much auto tune I can pick up on for Rhianna. still a good song! In Italy we have this distinction between interpreter (I don't know if that's the right translation, but it's someone who doesn't write and sings songs that other write for them) and "singer-songwriter (we have one word for it and it's "cantautore") as an artist who write its own songs. Like they send her complete demo, i had the idea she just had at Best beats, besides some songs like halo etc. but maybe its not like that, she just arrives to record and pick what she likes or not. this makes it all much easier. Just the facto that you record yourself with the demos voice in the Back is such an easier way to sing. ofc they struggle performing. now i understand why she had this cutesy voice going on for this song.
