WOW I am feeling so nostalgic about this for the first time. What an era...

I remember getting the leaked file from a friend and BLASTING it as I drove home from work. I loved it so much. After so long without POPGA it was incredible to hear it. Also this was the pre-covid days... literally just before covid took over everything. I feel like it was the end of an era in human history.

Still have mixed feelings about the music video. But the song is fantastic.

Didn’t age good at all.. I’d rather ANY other song from the album to be the lead (well… except plastic doll and fun tonight lol).

Ugh I remember all the excitment of the beggining of a new era, the iconic billboard. I loved how lighthearted the song was, the feeling of new Gaga music that we could dance to.

As time went on, I have to say it's my least favorite song on Chromatica. I still like it, I just think it doesn't fit the album at all.

I was a little letdown by the music video, everything looked kinda cheap, I think if it wasn't shot with an iPhone it could've been better, all the BTS stuff looked better than the actual video :selena:.

Maybe her worst song and lead single! It's not fit at all with the perfection of the whole album. A song without chorus and with a bad video. I wish Replay would make the cut as the lead single with a killer video.

One of my personal favorite Gaga MV, the visual callbacks to Late 90's / early 2000's Eurodance aesthetics are EVERYTHING. Space Channel 5 / Smile.dk realness!

Time. It will not wait, no matter how hard you hold on...

I hardly ever listen to this song, reminds me too much of the beginning of the pandemic :franminervini:

I mean... it's a decent song. But definitely her weakest lead single for sure.

I don’t get all the hate for the video :cryga: it’s so colorful and camp and the dance scenes are everything

Stupid Love had me in a CHOKEHOLD from the day it leaked until like early April. Hearing an EDM leaning song from her after over 6 years of a more traditional sound was surreal

Stupid Love's production is one of the best on the albums. Too bad it didn't chart very well but I will always feel nostalgic about it.

I love this song ,

they were playing it at the clubs and they’d were *swarming* to it. The first bit of good dance music to kick off 2020. Queens were always performing it.
and then T̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶e̶ ̶n̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ Covid attacked and all was silent

but the music video was so vamp, so fun. Truly truly wish she went off with each tribe, wish they got proper introductions, and the storyline would have continued (re featured) in more vids. Maybe that was the original plan?

Wow 3 years already… How time flies… Thank god Chromatica was around the corner in those dark times. All the days I spent scrolling on Twitter for leaks or updates of the album… surreal times. This era is probably her worst as we didn’t have much material out of it except a couple MVs, only one live performance, a remix album and a tour, but I really cherish it because it honestly got me through the COVID era. It was my daily source of motivation during the lockdown and I enjoyed the little we had coming from this era. Then the tour happened two years later and the anticipation of it really made 2022 one of the best years of my life. God bless Chromatica :holdmyhand:
